The opportunity with which one gets to join most elite naval forces in Africa. Below are the details you need to know to apply.

General Information

1. Interested and qualified applicants are to apply FREE OF CHARGE online at [www.joinnigeriannavy.com].

2. Only one valid application is allowed; multiple online applications will be disqualified.

3. Applicants are to print out the under-listed documents after completion of the online application:

   - Parent/Guardian Consent Form

- Local Government Attestation Form. This is to be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicant or Local Government Chairman

  - Police Certification Form

  - Guarantor's Certification Form

Eligibility

4. Applicants shall be Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identification Number (NIN).

5. Applicants shall not be less than 1.69m height for males and 1.65m height for females.

6. The candidates should be medically, psychologically, and physically fit.

7. The candidate should not have any previous conviction by the court of law on criminal grounds.

Guidelines to the Applicants

8. a. Applicants with O'Level/SSCE results are to be between the ages of 18 and 22 years by 31 December 2024. They are to have at least 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB and not older than 2018.

b. Applicants with OND/NCE must be between the ages of 18 and 26 years while that of Chaplain/Imam, Assistant and Drivers/Mechanic applicants are expected to be between 18 and 28 years of age as at 31 December 2024. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits, Mathematics and English inclusive, in not more than two (2) sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB not older than 2014.

c. Tradesmen applying for the recruitment exercise must have Trade Test certificates and a credit in English Language in not more than 2 sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB not older than 2014.

d. Candidates seeking enlistment for professions allied to medicine must possess their ND from recognized training institutions in Nigeria and valid practicing license.

e. Candidates seeking enlistment as sportsmen/women are to come along with proof of their experiences which shall include certificates and medals.

f. All Applicants must be able to use the English Language fluently. Failure to abide by this instruction shall lead to disqualification at any stage of the Recruitment process.

Important Dates and Other Information

9. Online Registration begins on 15 November 2024 and closes on 20 December 2024.

10. The Recruitment Aptitude Test will be conducted on 18 January 2025 in various centres nationwide.

11. Applicants are to note that the entire enlistment process is **FREE OF CHARGE** and no payment should be made at any point throughout the Exercise.

12. The Attestation Form is to be accompanied by the passport photograph and photocopy of the signee's Driver License, International Passport or National ID Card. The signee is also to authenticate the passport photograph of the applicant.

13. Successful candidates will undergo basic military training and on completion will be enlisted into the Service of the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen.
